I watched Terminator 2 just moments ago while i type out this post. An old movie with a great storyline and less nonsense. But I've got two words to say for Endhiran; FUCK ENDHIRAN!
And all those Rajni fans out there would now be bursting in anger as they read the two bold and capped words that i have typed out above. To tell you an honest truth, I am a die hard Rajni fan myself, and sadly he has been made a scape goat for Shankar in this movie. The main reason i got pissed is because being a Rajni fan, i waited long for this movie to be released, even before Sivaji.
If you want to make a movie with international standards, then you better live up to it. I don't bother if the movie was made on a lower budget or what, but make sure it leaves an impact, a bright one that is. Enough of your comedy Shankar, get real.
I mean, which ass would train his robot to dance if his prime objective was to send it for military use? What the fuck, right? The CGI could have been better if you ask me. They boasted of having Hollywood talents with them and they said that it was par to international standards but if you ask some vellae kaaran (white guy) to watch this movie he is gonna have a good laugh!!!
You may tell me that this is a science-fiction movie so you can't deal certain issues like how logic can the movie get. But sometimes you may tend to forget that there is logic in science fiction as well.
And A.R.Rahman. What has got into him? Why are the soundtracks so fucked up? Okay for those who haven't watched the movie yet I'm sorry for breaking some story up: The bad robot is on a cabriolet which is on a container, and the cue that runs behind is some fucked up hip-hop trance shit that got stuck to me however, but it was fucked up. (To get a music stuck to you it must be either too good or too fucked up) Instead of putting some psy-trance music (robot maaaa), he puts that. I mean, what the fuck?! WHAT THE FUCK??!! Rahman, you are an Oscar composer and you should NOT have screwed up the soundtrack like that. Throughout the movie, no cue impressed me. Unlike his work in VTV (Vinnai Thaandi Vaaruvaaya) which was simply, fabulous. VTV was a love movie, and he managed to keep on that track. I have ALL the scores for that movie in my HDD and i always listen to them. But Endhiran? No I am NOT goin to download it. It sucks.
If I knew Endhiran was goin to be like this I would rather prefer KT Kunjumon to execute it. Seriously.
So much for the hype of Endhiran for the past 5 years plus!!! Damnit!!! Fuck Endhiran, fuck Shankar, fuck A.R.Rahman (only this time)!!!
Personal note: Though my posts might be a little too harsh for some to digest, think again. SO much money spent, so much idea poured in (i liked the idea of mashing sci fi and indian elements together however, and the cinematography is like fucking awesome), but certain poor elements ruined the movie. And they happened to be key elements.
